Cheer Routine

The Salem Lutheran Blue Knights cheerleading squads (Jr. & Sr.) performed at the Salem Lutheran Winter Carnival on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The dance/cheer routine was the first performance of the season for the squads, who will be cheering in support of our three basketball teams this year!
The first game of the season is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Concordia! The cheerleaders will be manning the Salem Cheer Gear booth during morning day-care/car-pool on Thursday morning, so stop by and purchase your Go Blue Knights car magnets ($5) and Salem Spirit Poms ($2) before school on Thursday morning! Come to the game and support our Jr. girls and Jr & Sr. boys as they open the Basketball season!

Cheerleading Squad Preseason Meeting

Parents of all 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls interested in joining the 2009-2010 Cheerleading Squad:
A pre-season meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 6:30 PM in the Salem gymnasium. We will take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you and get to know each of you as well! During the meeting, we will provide information on practice schedules, performance opportunities (outside of Basketball season), and share with you our commitment to a fun, productive, and positive experience for the members of the squad. We will also outline the details of the expectations for continued participation in Cheerleading activities. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet with Ms. Kelly Bouvier, our Cheer Executive, who will be coordinating our schedule/performances/camp/phone-tree and (too many other issues to mention) this year.
